Now I get it. I get why this happened...
I had wondered, seeing this photo before, "Why the hell didnt she get a longer wig!?!" but then I saw non-cover photos with a similarly short fringe. Egads.
As I put the bow in my hair today I realised - it happened to me too.
I can just see her, like me, sitting at the hairdresser's, insisting the fringe be just above her eyebrows, scowling "I do NOT want to be back in here in a week for a trim, just cut the fringe shorter, just above the brow like I said!" to find when it dries, this happens...
Boo :( I mean, Katy's fringe is shorter, but she has better brows and hair so can pull it off a little shorter :P
I do blame myself for going to a cheap hairdresser, only wanting the fringe cut, but NEVER AGAIN. The fringe, despite it being short, is lopsided and too blunt for me too pull off. The original cut was much smoother, even when my fringe ruffled. How did they do that?
Ah well, hair grows.
